This story about a young girl who gets kicked out of the convent she is studying in comes from two time Cannes Grand Jury Prize winner Bruno Dumont.




Keshtzar haye sepid / The White Meadows
Rahmat's job is to collect tears from the inhabitants of an island, but no one knows what he does with them. (Enough said-I'm there!)


note: I consider Making Plans for Lena to be a given, as I love Christophe Honoré, and therefore I exempted it from the list as a movie that demands to be seen.
